Andrea Shannon

I am the middle school science teacher at The Campus School of Carlow University. I have my Master's degree in Elementary Education and I have been working with children since the age of 16! I was the science teacher for 4 years before having my daughter, Presleigh, in 2015. I had the privilege of staying home with Presleigh for 2 years, and then happily returned to Carlow last school year! I am so thrilled to be working with such a wonderful group of children again! This year in science we will focus on plants and animals, living things, earth and its resources, body systems, earth's structure, earthquakes, volcanoes, light energy, and physics! Our classroom environment promotes hands-on learning and learning from our mistakes.
