Forensics

The Campus School is a member of the Southwestern Pennsylvania Forensics League (SPFL). Participation in the Campus School forensics program provides students with the opportunity to develop skills and experience in oral presentation. Those skills prepare them for further academic success in both high school and university.
Categories of forensics oral presentation include:
- Prose
- Poetry
- Declamation
- Dramatic Interpretation
- Multiple Reading
The program of activities includes three divisional meets, divisional Finals, and one All-star Tournament. Individual performance is measured against skill criteria rather than student competition in all but the All-star Tournament, where students compete against each other in the skill areas. Excellence is recognized by ribbon and/or certificate awards.
