Mrs. Laurie Laird

Laurie Laird has been working in the Montessori environment for 18 years. After completing her Bachelors degree in Early Childhood/Elementary Education from Point Park University, she started her classroom experience in the Montessori 3-6 environment as an assistant teacher. She then continued her training and recieved her Montessori Early Childhood Certification from Montessori Center International in 2004.

Laurie is always excited to bring the joy of learing to her students through discovery. While not preparing the classroom environment, she enjoys spending her time with her familly and friends. Laurie has two children, her oldest son has completed the Montessori 3-6 program and is now in fourth grade, and her youngest son is a Montessori Kindergartener and eager to come to school.
