Mrs. LuAnn Lagnese

My name is LuAnn Lagnese. I was born and raised in California, Pa. I went to California University where I received a B.S. in Psychology and a Masters in Elementary Education. My first teaching assignment was in Virginia Beach, where I taught second grade. I loved teaching at the beach, but something just kept calling me home. I returned to Pittsburgh and worked as a family therapist for Holy Family Institute and a teacher in a Head Start program.

I came to The Campus School well over 15 years ago as a permanent sub in First Grade. A year later I was moved to second grade where I spent many wonderful years teaching and getting to know the children and their families. These days, you can find me in First Grade. I love teaching First Grade! It's wonderful to watch the children learn and grow into responsible, enthusiastic students. Teaching is a very rewarding experience.

When I'm not teaching, I am at home in Brookline where I live with my husband Eddie, my mom, my dog Rosie, 3 plus cats, fish, and my favorite tortoise Isabella. I love to cook, shop, garden, travel, and do any and everything with my family and friends.
